I lifted mine with a 4x4 running fore to aft and a chainfall from the

a word of advice. Double check to make sure you reeeely disconnected the
emergency brake cable and the steering column... don't ask why I say this...

Where are the best places to lift a Spitfire body off
the chassis?

I have a GT6 factory manual that shows using hooks on
the cowl (that'll work for the Spit, too) and a beam
under the roof (that ain't gonna work with the soft
top).

So, just use a sling around the rear right behind the
rear wheel openings?
