Does anyone have a state-side source of the fittings for the Flotec hoses as
shown here as a 45 degree female fitting? The stainless steel hoses are
binding directly on the motor mount and the suspension upright. A smaller
diameter tube would appear to work better.
Thanks.
BTW, I made my own brackets today for the oil cooler, suspended in front of
the radiator at a similar slant.

Subject: Oil Cooler Installation
I just purchased an oil cooler kit from TRF, and of course, there are
questions. Has anyone on the list ever installed one on a late 79-80 Spit?
If so, which is the best way to route the stainless steel hoses? Did you
have to cut a hole in the right side (steel) radiator valance panel? Are
the hoses attached to the top of the cooler? The Flotec oil cooler does
not have a thermostat (like in Pauls Whitey) in the oil takeoff plate.
Will the lack of an oil thermostat be a problem here in Savannah?
TIA
