I bought a 79-80 radiator, with fan, shroud, etc. The fan motor is 4 or 5
inches long. All the pictures I can find of this type radiator show the motor
in the fan. Do I have an early version of this setup?
Also, as I get the '77 Spitfire frame down to the nuts and bolts, I found one
lower A-arm cracked, at the sway bar fixture. The right rear shock mount had
screwed up threads, I had to use a big breaker bar.
I had two extra rear axle assemblies and one of them had screwed up threads,
on the shock mount.
Luck for me, it was the left one.
The trunnion pivots were pretty much frozen, on all four.
I'm going to strip the '73 frame and use it. I hope the lower left A-arm
isn't cracked.
