Some time ago someone asked what the abbreviations meant in some
posts, so I took it upon myself to find as many as I could. I havent included
such
as mm or " or rpm as they are in general use , but of course I could include
them if anyone needed me to.
Here is a list of abbreviations that have been used on the lists. If there
are any more please feel free to add them.
NOS - New Original Stock
PO - Previous Owner
DPO - Dumb Previous Owner
DCO - Dumb Current Owner
TTY - Talk To You Later
TIA - Thanks In Advance
YMMV - Your mileage may vary
FWIW - For what its worth
MODS - Modifications
BTW - By the way
IMO - In my opinion
FYI - For your information
GOK - God only knows !
O/D - Overdrive
ISTR - I seem to remember
AFAIK - As far as I know
PITA - Pain in the Arse (sorry, but thats what it means)
ATM - At the moment
TPI - Threads per inch
IIRC - If I remember correctly
