For what its worth.

I just finished a new exhaust on our 78 Spit 1500. It had on it when we
bought it.... a set of headers, the 4-1 type that has the 4 pipes straight
down to the collector. No idea who makes them. I had the local shop
custom make this configuration and it sounds and looks great. It is all 1
1/2 pipe. From the collector a short flexpipe, them back to a Y split just
behind the diff. On each one a small "Sweet Talker" turbo and then a Y
split again and strait round chrome tips. So 4 pipes out the back. Looks
and sounds great. The SPL meter says its just street legal. Nice little
increase in power in the 2K - 3K range, over the stock muffler.

cheers
