...unless the spring is rubbing on the shock as it was in my case. Now
it is better (not rubbing) but I still can see a curve.

In case you're curious, the "special procedure" the spring guy used was
to heat the entire spring up enough to soften the metal and remove some
of the temper while he had it compressed.  That's why he told you the
spring is now weaker.  It will be far more prone to gradually collapsing
now as well.

Coil springs bend as a result of uneven end pressures.  It's really no
big deal.  All cars with double wish bone front suspensions and coil
springs that mount to either arm have bent coils.  It's no big deal.
