I wonder if you can help me or if you know someone else who can.
I have to move to Yorkshire suddenly and unexpectedly and cannot take my
treasured Spitfire with me for reasons too humourless to mention. I
therefore have to sell it within the next fortnight. It's a mark iv, 1973,
white, 1300, petrol, tax exempt, 80,000 miles from new, MOT October 2003,
soft/hard tops, tonneau, mostly garaged for the 7 years before I had it, but
regularly serviced and MOT'd, in need of minor restoration, some rust around
the wheel arches and the interior a bit shabby, but an excellent runner and
great fun to drive. I'm looking for about #850. I've got garage bills
going back years so it's easy to see what's been done and when. I really
hope that you might be able to help me in some way. It would be greatly
