Subject: Leaf Spring Bushings Problem

Ok, this one is fun.

I discovered over the weekend that the leaf spring bushings have a metal
sleeve around the rubber.

Which means the old ones are still stuck in the spring.

Any idea on how I can remove them?

Thanks

A.

As I recall, when I did this, I "pushed" them out with a gear puller.
Placed the ears of the puller on the edge of the spring, located a
washer the size of the metal sleeve and pushed them right out.
