I spent Thanksgiving removing the old monza/pacesetter
system and installing the new header. It went on
without a hitch.

Today, I finished the install of the tubing and
mufflers. Sadly, the rest of the "custom exhaust" was
more of a problem. Without a way to bend stainless
steel tubing, I had to resort to using some pre-fabbed
aluminized mild steel bends to finish it off.

I still have several feet of stainless tubing left
over, but it looks like I'll have to pay someone to
mandrel bend it for me.

I haven't driven around in the car yet, but I had to
run the car for 20 mins at idle to cure the ceramic
coating on the headers. The sound is wonderful. The
loudest thing on the car now are the tappets. The
exhaust is quieter but still has a distinctive low
pulse note.

So, does anyone want a Monza system?

(Now on to fix the: reverse light switch, fan not
working, horn button, et al. When it rains it pours.
Maybe it will atleast be warm enough tomorrow to hose
off all of the muck that's accumulated over the past 2 months.)
