Dear All,
No, I haven't gone mad. Thick fog and excessive dampness means autumn,
not spring, however, springs have been on my mind today.
Last year, in an attempt to sort out Carly's Leaning Spit Syndrome, I
had the rear spring replaced. It helped for about a week, and then she
went back to her old ways again. Today I removed the front anti-roll
bar, as I was reliably informed that this was likely to be bent, and the
cause of my problem. It was straight as a die. I then drove for
sixty miles over bumpy roads with the anti-roll bar off the car, in the
hope that she would right herself. No joy. So I bought a set of
standard front springs and shocks from TRGB and fitted them. The lean
seems to be less pronounced now, but her nose is up in the air! Please
tell me that the nose will come down after a bit of use...
