All,

A friend of a friend on the Spridget list is having some trouble with their
Spit handling.

Can anyone offer any help? Please respond to valntine@ptd.net as he doesn't
have email.

Tks,

Michael

<Original message as follows:>

The Car;

1971 Spitfire

Symptoms;

The rear end wants to jump or bounce around left hand turns at
relatively high to moderate speed. It corners well around right hand
turns but the lefts are using up 2 lanes of roadway and he has to
"fight" the wheel. The transverse spring and all the associated
connections seem good upon inspection. Shocks are good. The car has a
stock suspension.

What should he look for? What mods can he make to cure the problem.
