Thank you for the info - I suspected that .060 was kind of high unless it
was for an OEM type Electronic Ignition or the really high voltage coils.
.042/.045 sounds like a good setting to work with for most applications.

I have a Crane PS20 and their phone support guys said as wide as it can go
Probably up to 45 thou. I set at 42 and it was OK. I would try more but
would have to have some really good plug wires. Currently my current set are
not up to it. Nothing wrong, just not the best ones for that high a
voltage.

Dave - I believe I had read somewhere that the gap could go to .060 with a
high voltage coil to utilize the improved spark performance, but I too would
like confirmation from someone who has tried & tested it. Please let me know
if you get any feedback on this that doesn't make it to the list.

I've been running my Spit and a sports coil with the plugs gap at .035".
How wide can the plugs be gap with the sports coil?
