First glance at the dash (not to mention paint) and it fails 'concourse'
condition. Non-stock 'concourse', perhaps, but still 'not quite'. It is a
pretty nice looking car, although I personally find it... I don't know... not
good. I'm no purist, but the color is a bit TOO far removed from Triumph.
Also, whoever did the interior scheme should be flogged, or keel-hauled.
What's with the BLUE carpet, that has BLACK trim (not to bad, so far), then the
BROWN seats? I mean, Brown seats aren't disgusting... but somehow they
disgustingly clash with the blue and black. THEN, when you mix in the GREY (?)
inside door panels...ugh, still shuddering! All new interior or not, looks
like someone simply threw a collection of left over interior bits together.
Not saying it's bad, as obviously someone likes it. I didn't.
Nice looking car. Cold day in Hell before I gave someone that much money for
it, 'tho. (or for ANY 'near' stock Spit!).
I guess that my pessimistic nature also finds it rather hard to swallow that an
owner would only drive a car that purported as perfect, around the block ONCE,
on only two different occassions spanning 2+ years. It's possible, I suppose,
but I just find it unlikely.
