John Z.;
Nice to see someone else willing to get redical. I am just finishing up my
camo spit. I have used an earlief desert pattern. There are some very nice
supermarine spitfire sites that helped. I am using 18" roundels in vinyl
(not cheap, but done locally VERYnice-this guy is a vinyl artist). I have
also used squadron and aircraft identification letters. It has a 6" wide
white stripe around its waist just behind the cockpit (this was used to make
the plane more identifiable to friendlies. It is painted in PPG Omni
basecoat/clearcoat with about 8 coats of clear. This was done because I am
such a newbie to paint and I had to do alot of sanding and fixing. If you
would like I will send you a couple of very nice aircraft photos that I have
found to help... Oh I will be taking picks of the car within the week or so.
