Spray them with a good penetrating oil and tap each side of the rails with a
hammer from the front with one hand while opening the seat adjust with the
other. Sure, you'll be pushing them back further, but the idea is get them
unstuck first, then you can wrestle them forward a lot easier. If they're
totally immoveable, the only other option would probably be to drill out the
bolts, and retap, since heat really isn't an option with the carpets and all.
But that would really be a last restort. I had the distinct displeasure of
having a tap break off inside one of my seat rail holes after the original
bolt broke off inside while trying to remove it. Drilling out the bolt was
bad enough. Trying to drill out a hardened tap was a nightmare. Good luck.

Subject: Seat rails...
What's the best way to un-stick the seat rails?
Mine are all the way back and therefore I can't get at the bolt in the back
of the rail to remove the seats.
