I have got a multimeter which I guess I should be able to find an
ignition switched circuit fairly easily, I'll have read the instuctions
to find out how to get the live testing function though! What sort of
shops would sell a wire tap and what do they look like?
I didn't realise that you could connect a ground to any bit of the frame,
I had assumed that there would be only one standard grounding point in
the car.
That all sounds quite simple anyway, should be able to manage that!
