I regretfully write to inform that I sold my car this afternoon. :(
I have advertised it a couple of times this summer with little response. In
the mean time, I have been happily continuing to find things to improve and
replace. I have spent many more hours learning about and restoring this
little car than I ever have spent driving it. It has been a pleasure to own
and I will miss it greatly. In the end the practical matter of reaching the
end of the money before the end of the month dictated that it would be best to
pursue selling.
I want to offer my sincere thanks to all of you Spitfire nuts for your advice
and help through the last couple years. Your dedication to the craft,
professional attitude, and resourcefulness are a tribute to the marque.
At some point over the next while I will bring myself to unsubscribe from
these lists.
