The rear bearing has been singing the "I'm about to fail" song
increasingly loudly recently. This is my biggest dread as in the
past I have gone from machine shop to machine shop trying to find
someone who has the necessary equipment to press off the hub.
I'm thinking of trying it myself this time. I know that some of
you have built home made hub removal tools, but the list archives are
down.
Keeping in mind that I don't have access to heavy metal working tools,
can someone share any successful ideas for home made hub pullers?
TIA!
Greg Rowe
