It may be more of a problem on the Yank side of the pond.  
I've got a late model myself, with the dipping day/night mirror,
and still get lots of reflection off it, due to the Spitfire being
so low to the ground.

Now it may be more of an American problem in that we
have those stupid DOT headlights that are designed to
blind other drivers, as well as trucks and such with very
high mounted headlights.
