A quick tip on the electrical connectors.
When you take them apart, dip the wire, the bullets and the circular clips
in so phosphoric acid. This will clean the oxidation off the metal. Then
when you put the wires back in the bullets, don't pull them all the way
through the bullet and fold back the wires as was customary. Instead,
pull about 1/8" through the bullet and solder the wire to the bullet. This
gives a much better electrical connection. Finally before you put the
bullet into the connector, put some dielectric past on the bullet. This
will help keep the connection from oxidizing and give a lot longer trouble
free service.
