Does anyone have a use for a Dolomite 1500 engine? This one came out of a
mechanically excellent but terminally rotten 1977 car. While the mileage is
just under 100,000, there are no signs of any mechanical problems - I've
known the car since it was new and it's only owner was absolutely fastidious
about maintenance. The carburettors and alternator were used on another
vehicle, but the gearbox is still fitted - that too was excellent when last
driven.
I'm looking for about 80 UKP for the engine and box - I really don't
want them hanging around the garage much longer. If it's wanted for a Herald
or Spitfire I'll throw in an appropriate sump pan.
        I'm located in Wiltshire, UK.
        Cheers,
                Bill.
