Listers,
        "O" rings are available for the calipers used on the MG Midgets from 
the 
usual places and I suspect they are the same as used on the Spitfire brakes, 
also the Midget Manuels list the torque value at 33.5 to 37 ft lbs. assuming 
that the bolts are the same size and thread.   They also say that the bolts 
should not be reused but replaced.  I have reused these bolts but I am 
always very careful to torque to specs or just a little under.  I believe 
the real problem is over tightening and then you have a bolt failure thus 
brake system failure.  It isn't really that difficult to rebuild the 
calipers with compressed air without breaking them in half unless you have a 
really rusted piston then it is best to replace the whole unit.
