Anyone? Not me, but someone did. toward the back of
the "Triumph Spitfire & GT6, A Guide to Originality"
by John Thomason is a b&w photo of a GT6, with a sun
roof and a description of:
"Although not an official accessory fitted at the
factory, Webasato Tudor sunroofs were an 'approved'
dealer accesory fitted to a number of GT6 MKIIs and
MKIIIs."
The "sun roof" in that photo looks like it's a piece
of canvas that is folded back accordian style.
Also, while perusing J.C. Whitney's on-line catalog a
few weeks ago, I did a search for items by model (see
what items they had specifically for a Triumph
Spitfire), and one of the items under exterior
excessories was just what a convertible car needs, a
sun roof!
15" x 30" would fit within a spitfire hard-top? I
doubt it. It lists the same accessory and part number
for GT6's. I wouldn't order it, but I thought it was
interesting none-the-less.
