well John K...I finally understand what
you meant when you said you could
salvage/recoup, a synchro a lathe,
and that the newer synchros are not that great.
Only one of the four new synchros got
used on the tranny and O/D I just tonight,
finished rebuilding.
To anyone contemplating rebuilding a tranny...
go for it. It isn't that hard. Just pay attention
to what you're doing and all will turn out great.
...as did mine.

answered any of my Q's over the last two weeks
about trannies, synchros, oils, and tolerances.
