Brad,
I certainly wouldn't claim to be an expert in nail polish or car paint,
but I suspect the reason that women have to renew their nail polish so
frequently is actually more to do with their nails than with the polish.
Skin (including nails) regenerates itself constantly, and the outer
layer gets discarded (forming household dust), taking the polish with
it. Exactly the same way as if you get paint, or superglue, on your
hands, it will come off after a while.

Subject: Sealing cracks in paint
It's been suggested to use clear nail polish for sealing a small crack
in
paint. Does it stay on permanently,
or does it wear off over time? Most women's nails I've seen, over time
they seem to have to reapply. Maybe one of the
women has the answer?
Does clear nail polish cause a problem with the surrounding paint. What
about
other things, like clear varnish, clear polyurethane, clear flecto
verathane, or even clear paint?
