Some of you may know that I am one of the "younger owners." I bought my Spit
when I was 16, now I am 18 and the car has become a 'rolling restoration.' A
few years ago I didn't even know what a Triumph or MG was. Now I am a true
enthusiast.
My uncle got me into these cars. He had a Spitfire in Connecticut (that I
never saw) that he restored and later sold. Recently he restored a beautiful
TR6 (that will not be sold). He told me that I should look for a BC to
restore. He had an MG Midget lined up for me in Connecticut but it would
have been impossible to transport it to PA where I live.
Last year when my Dad and I were pulling into a LBC show, they guy selling
tickets said, "Wow, I wish my son would be interested enough to come." He
was surpassed to learn that I was the LBC owner in the family.
I just wanted to get my $.02 in before this topic has rusted away.
Cheers,
