Mark,
I used foil covered bubble wrap insulation.  I think it came from Home Depot 
but it may have been from Autozone. I glued this onto the underside of my 
trans. tunnel with the yellow stuff and have had no problems yet.   Did it 2 
years ago and have been caught in the rain a few times.
