I think this is a real hoot. I own a '79 myself and was in WaldenBooks
just a few minutes ago. My wife grabbed one of those car collector books
and looked up Spitfires. In the "experts" opinions they don't hit the
$3000 mark till the Concours level. A not running 1500 lists in that book
at less than $1000. I think even after currency conversion this one is
probably a little pricey. Heck, I bought mine, running, off of a used
car lot and people thought I overpaid at $2000. (I, of course, do not
agree and have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it.)
