My 71 has a bit of dead spot in the steering, it's not much but it's enough
to cause a little concern.
What I have done so far,
New bushings in the front-- ALL
New tie rod ends
New upper Ball Joints
New rubber mounts for rack
I KNOW the slop is not in the components of the suspension, it's in the rack
itself.
I checked the Haynes Manual and they say to crank down on the nut where the
rod goes into the rack.
What would this DO ??
