Hi all, just back from Naples. (Naples, Idaho, that is!)
In a wrecking yard there I saw a novel idea and wondered if
anyone else had carried it to completion.
There is a MK 2 Spitfire sitting in the yard with what
appeared to be a GT6 look to it. Closer inspection showed
someone had carefully cut a top off a GT6 and set it onto a
Spit. The project hadn't been completed and the car was now
rusing away in the junk yard.
But it looked good with a hatchback hardtop which could be
removed. There was no method of fastening the hard top on,
and no seals around the top of the windshield.
Has anyone else tried this idea? Did it work?
Cheers, Fred
