How much play is appropriate in a brake pedal? My rear brakes are freshly adjusted and the pads are good. I haven't looked at the front pads, but I can lock up the brakes.. the pedal just seems to go closer to the floor than I would like... If the amount of play is excessive, what does this indicate?
