Hi Doug
I think the Riley Elf and Wolsley Hornet are much nicer looking than the
Mini from which they are derived, also a far better appointed interior. Good
luck with it. Why not drive it home!
Graham.

Subject: Shipping cars
|
| Spitted ones,
|
| I am entering negotiations to purchase a car in Florida.
| One of my concerns is in getting the car shipped to
| Michigan. I know that some of you have done this before,
| so I thought that I would see if there were any recommendations
| for shipping companies.
|
| The other alternative is to fly down to FL, rent a truck and
| dolly and tow the car back. The drawback is that I would
| have to take a couple of days off work. The good part is that
| I can look the car over closely myself before buying it.
|
| I guess that I could also have a bunch of friends across the
| route transfer it for me. One picks it up in FL, tows it to
| GA where someone else would be waiting. He tows it to Tenn.,
| and transfers it... I then collect it from someone in Ohio. ;)
|
| Just for the record, the car is not a Triumph but is a LBC,
| a Mini based Wolsley Hornet.
