Hi dave,
Last summer I installed a Audiovox Rampage stereo system in my 76 Spit. Remote
6 CD changer bolted to the drivers sidewall in the boot. AM/FM Cassette control
head in the dash hole. I had to make my own DIN faceplate to cover the hole. I
mounted two Jensen Coaxial 5" speakers in back of the parcel trays, and placed
two Kenwood Wedge speakers on the deck behind the seats. Everything fit and is
working well. Even at highway speeds I can hear music out of the front speakers
quite well. The system has a removal faceplate as a theft deterrent.

Good luck.
