I just pulled one off of my '76 spit, I was going to
put on Ebay (if I ever borrow my friend's digital
camera...I'm up to my arm pits in extraneous do-dads).
There are no numbers cast into the unit, and none of
my catalogs have an image of the windshield washer
switch.
So I have no idea if this is the one you need or even
if it's original. It has two speeds (twist off/on/on)
and depress to pump fluid from the reservoir. And a
chrome bezel that screws on to the front of the unit.
Rimmer Bros. lists an original spec of 155495 for the
original unit (but no price), a LUCAS type 155495L
(39.00 gbp no VAT) and a Tudor type 155495T (enquire).
As for the one I have. It worked just fine when I
pulled it off last week. But I have no idea if it's
what you need.
If anyone's interested, I also have a somewhat new
(bought this past August) Headlight/Running lamp
switch (toggle) that mounts in the dash, with a
retaining clip.
The rest of the stuff (the rheostat and hazard switch
were defunct and trashed), but I do have a couple of
the indicator squares (Brake, hazard, wiper & EGR)
but they have green filters (except for the EGR) and
the EGR is missing it's "shade".
