It's not much better here in the U.S. In the local
baltimore news Saturday;

Just as a short synapsis; A youth was arrested for
evading police in a chase through Baltimore city in
speeds exceeding 100 mph, eventually running down and
killing a police officer that was in a car attempting
to road block the fleeing suspect. (The youth was seen
shooting a semi-automatic hand-gun into a crowd by
witnesses before the chase ensued).
When the youth was pryd from the wreckage, he was
wearing body armor (kevlar bullet proof vest) and was
in possession of a 10 mm hand-gun in the front seat.
The suspect (Stennett) was aquitted on all charges by
a jury of his peers on Friday. The lesser offenses of
wearing a controlled piece of equipment (a vest) and
carrying a concealed weapon were rendered "moot" by
the jurors because he was found innocent of the other
charges.
The 27 yo officer killed in the "accident" is survived
by his wife and 3 year old son.
