To be honest, I don't even know if it is a reconditioned Lucas, but I
got my reconditioned starter from Rimmer.  It was cheaper than any I
could find over here, even with the shipping.  I ate the core charge
because I wanted to keep the old one for rebuilding as a spare.  It's
more than a year old and well into it's second winter of cold hard
cranking.
