I'm starting to get towards the end of my Mk3 restoration project, engine is in
- brakes are done - starting to untangle the wiring harness. I've noticed that
the black vinyl covering the dash top and other interior metal work is not as
black as it once was. Does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning or
re-colouring the vinyl to erase 30+ years of grime & fading? Against the new
vinyl of the seat covers etc. the old stuff looks positively grey.
