I don't know if there is anyone with interest. But since no clubs have
stepped forward, I would be willing to form a committee to hold the first
Regional convention for the Midwest, or whatever region Ohio and surrounding
states are in. I don't know if committe based conventions are kosher with
the VTR, if not please let me know. But we have a great potential here. We
could look at either a late summer convention or one for next year. Maybe
regional committees should run these rather than one particular club?
So the questions are these.
1. Is there an interest in a regional convention for this part of the
country.
2. Are there between 10 and 20 people willing to form the committee and put
in the work to hold a convention.
3. Andy Mace, is this a Kosher way of proceding under the auspice of the
VTR?
4. What Region is Ohio in and what others are included? (stupid question,
but I would rather not assume)
