The last time I removed the shear bolts from a Spitfire it was easy. I just used a cutoff wheel in a dremel tool and cut a screwdriver slot into the part sticking out. Use a straight screwdriver to back them out. If you dont have a dremel tool a hacksaw blade used as a jab saw also works well.
