Front wheel bearings.  Check for wheel wobble too, but I bet the bearings
are shot on one wheel.  And of course since they are cheap and you'll have
the front end torn down, replace both sets on the front end.  

You won't get grinding sounds with any suspension components.  They may be
dry, even squeak now and then, but they won't grind.  If they did, it
means they are hitting the pavement and you have other problems causing
that. :)
