Thx to all who responded to my inquiry about Spit hardtops.

Cost assessment:
$300 seems to be the top end price for a very good (has all the
parts) condition hardtop
$100/150 seems to be the low end price for a fair or parts missing
hardtop

Advice:
Maybe I should re-think the idea of getting a hardtop. I don't plan
on driving in the snow or freezing rain, so....do I really need one. I
just thought it might give my Spit a different kool look.

My Plan:
I may look for one closer to home (Massachusetts) so that I can have
the option of seeing it first hand before I consider purchasing.

Thx again everyone.
