According to Richard Newton in *The Illustrated Triumph Buyer's Guide*
(MBI Publishing, 1994) "There are a lot of Group 44 cars floating around
the world at this point. There are also some replica cars out there, so
be very careful." He goes on to say that one Bob Tullius could be
reasonably sure of the authenticity of any Group 44 cars that might come
on the market.
The book contains several photos of group 44 cars during the period, but
no recent ones.
