Well as the car is already fitted with a single rail gearbox, I had assumed
that the clutch/flywheel/starter motor issue was already resolved in order
to install a 1500 gearbox the first time round! There is an appropriate
clutch plate supplied by John Kipping/Canley Classics here in the UK. The
alternative method of changing the flywheel to accomodate the 1500 clutch
assembly leaves a different starter ring gear, so the 1500 starter moter
then becomes a requirement (with associated wiring changes). The simplest
solution is to just change the clutch plate,
Cheers,
Bill.
