I think I have posted this to the list before but, Dodge Omni rims (and I
assume most of the other kcar family) have rims with the correct offset, or
close enough and the holes are pretty close. My father has them on his
spitfire. He took them and welded in the holes and redrilled the holes a
little bit in. He has been running them for several years and they work
fine. The rims and tires only rub at full lock and then just a little.
They look very cool and very close to stock except for the square holes. I
am wondering if the same could be done with some of the aluminum rims that
came on these cars and some of the others in the same chassis line.
