Diane
I've never seen a Mk 2 manual , but would also like to obtain one for my Mk
2 . I do have an original owners manual for my Mk 1 ( Spitfire 4 ) which is
basically the same as the Mk 2 , if a photostat copy would help you .
Kind regards

Subject: MK II owner's manual
Hi all,
This shop manual talk has me thinking about the owner's manuals. While
the late model manuals are available from various sources, I've never
seen one listed for the spit MK II. Anyone know more about this? Now
that I'm down to the body/interior part of the restoration, it might be
nice to know what knob/lever/switch I'm supposed to have, what it should
do and where it should go...the guide to originality is helpful,
although it shows right-hand drive only.
btw, I wrote about finding needle bearings for the driveshaft awhile
back; would you believe the correct driveshaft, bearings and all, was in
the local junkyard?
cheers,
Diane
