I took my car to my local shop to have the exhaust manifold welded today. For all of you who would like to know, he recommends using nickel to weld cast iron. He welded the break on the manifold without taking it off. He recommended that I replace the manifold, since it would have to come off to weld it properly and why not just replace it?
