About 8 years ago I R+Red my head, and I enthusiastically coated
both sides of the gasket with this stuff. I removed the head last week.
I had to use the rope trick to break the head loose. The gasket
ended up spitting, with one half thoroughly stuck to the block,
and one half to the head. There was no evidence of any leaks
around the cylinders or anywhere. But it look me hours of scraping to remove
the remains of the gasket, even with gasket remover spray!
