Looks like my restoration project is about the same stage as yours.
I just went out and measured mine - its the same as yours. The diff flange is
a bit closer to the right rail. If you look at the front diff carrier you'll
see the hole is off centre.
Gues who tried to install a diff with the diff carrier on upside down? And it
was under a fully assembled car. I tried, pried and cried for a day before I
realized the problem!
