For what it's worth, there are two aluminum bellhousing types for Spitfires (Heralds). One is a thicker casting and the other is thin and unsuitable for any stress that is typical of competition. >From the photo on EBAY, this one appears to be the thicker one and might be worth $75 bucks or more to anyone who wants to quickly eliminate about 15 or 20 pounds from your car. It makes removing and installing the tranny much more palatable! Joe |
