Most all caps AFTER 1970 or anything fitted with a charcoal canister has a non-vented cap - This refers to when the fuel tank was vented to the atmosphere via the cap, and after the advent of emission controls and closed systems the vent is routed to other areas (typically the canister through various pipes and fuel traps) Barry Schwartz (San Diego) bschwart@pacbell.net 72 PI, V6 Spitfire (daily driver) 70 GT6+ (when I don't drive the Spit) 70 Spitfire (long term project) |
